Colored cardstock or construction paper
Scissors
Glue

Directions

Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this Halloween potion to life!

Take the liquid piece and glue it onto the lower part of the bottle. Line up the bottom and side edges so the liquid sits neatly inside the bottle shape.

Glue the cork lid to the top center of the bottle.

Take the twine piece and glue it across the neck of the bottle, just below the cork lid.

Glue the tag to the right side of the twine so it hangs slightly over the bottle. The skull and crossbones detail gives the potion bottle a perfect Halloween touch.

It is time to personalize the craft! Write one letter of your child’s name on each bubble letter, then glue the bubbles across the liquid in the correct order. Encourage them to say each letter aloud as they go for some extra name and letter practice.

Use colored markers to draw different sized bubbles above and below the name. Kids can have fun adding as many potion bubbles as they like and making each one a little different.
