Grab the burger piece and glue it on top of the lettuce layer. Help your child line it up across the middle of the bun, just like a real hamburger patty.

This Hamburger Craft is a fun and easy paper activity where kids create a smiling hamburger by stacking and assembling simple burger layers.

Materials

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Markers
  • Hamburger Template

Instructions

  • Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
  • Begin by gluing the lettuce piece onto the bottom bun.
  • Take the the burger piece and glue it on top of the lettuce.
  • Grab the cheese piece and glue it on top of the burger.
  • Color in the inner spots of the tomato piece with a red marker and then glue it on top of the cheese.
  • Look for the eye pieces and glue it onto the top bun, below the eyebrows.
  • Use a marker to color in the hamburger's tongue.
  • Draw on the cheeks on both sides of the mouth.
  • Next, draw on sesame seeds on the top bun.
  • Finally, glue the top bun above the tomato layer to complete the hamburger craft.
