This is a simple Thanksgiving craft kids can do for the holiday with parents or grandparents.
Print out the craft template and let kids go at it! It’s a simple craft that helps children develop fine motor skills as they cut, glue, and color in the pieces of the turkey.
Once kids are done cutting out all the pieces from the template, hand them some glue so they can create an entire flock of turkeys for your table this Thanksgiving!

Easy Turkey Craft

Supplies
- Colored cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Crayons or markers (if using the color in version)
- Turkey template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)
Directions
Download the turkey template and print it out.
If you are using the black and white version, let your kids color them in with crayons or markers. Cut out all of the pieces.
For the black and white version, simply glue the wings to the back of the turkey’s body, then glue the feet to the back and bottom of the turkey’s body. That’s it!
For the full color version, follow the steps below.
First, glue the snood to the back of the beak. Now glue them to the middle of the turkey’s head, slightly lower than halfway down the head.
Next, take the eyes and glue them on either side of the beak.
Place the belly in the middle of the body and glue it in place.
Create the turkey’s wings by gluing the inner feathers to the outer feathers.
Finish up by gluing the wings to the back of the turkey head and body.
Position the feet at the bottom of the body and glue them to the back of the turkey.
