Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this squirrel to life!

Grab the squirrel face and the nose/mouth piece. Help your child line it up, then glue the lighter piece to the bottom half of the face.

Next, glue the eyes on the face, just above the muzzle area. This is when your squirrel starts to come to life. Watch the kids light up when they see it!

Let’s add those adorable pink cheeks on both sides of the face. Not only is it cute, it adds character to your squirrel!

Now take the body and glue the lighter belly piece right in the middle.

Help your child attach the finished head to the top of the body. Look how cute the squirrel is; those eyes and cheeks give it so much charm!

Time to glue on that big fluffy tail. Take the tail piece and help your child stick it to the back and side of the squirrel’s body.

Now that the squirrel is assembled, glue the entire body onto the tree trunk background. Try to center it so it looks like it’s peeking out of the hole in the tree.

Finally, lay out the acorn pieces and write or glue one letter of your child’s name on each. Then line them up at the bottom of the tree. This makes it personal and perfect for display!
