Squirrel Paper Bag Puppet

Supplies
- Brown paper bag
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Squirrel template (unlock the free template at the end of the post)
Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this squirrel to life!
First, guide your child to create the squirrel body by gluing the body onto the main portion of the brown paper bag.
Place the belly in the center of the orange paper and glue it in place.
Next, glue the lower face to the bottom portion of the head.
Position the eyes below the eyebrows and glue them in place.
Now, help your child glue the inner ears on the sides of the outer ears.
Glue the head to the flap portion of the paper bag.
Attach the acorn to the center of the belly.
Next, glue the acorn top to the top of the acorn.
Now, glue both arms to the sides of the acorn.
Finally, encourage your child to glue the tail to the back and left side of the body, between the two sides of the paper bag.
