Thanksgiving Turkey Craft

You can use artificial leaves or collect some outdoors on a leaf-hunting adventure. It’s a fun way to get into the Thanksgiving spirit while helping children develop their fine motor skills and creative expression.

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Real leaves or craft leaves
- Turkey leaf template

Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this turkey to life!

First, encourage your child to glue the eyes below the eyebrows.

Next, glue the snood below the eyes.

Place and position the beak on top of the snood and glue it in place.

Now, help your child to glue the feet to the bottom portion of the body.

Finally, guide your child to glue the leaves around the back of the body.
