Put Your Face On A Turkey Activity

This turkey project is a wonderful way to capture the spirit of the holiday season, and it’s easy to get started. You’ll need just a few basic supplies and our free template. Don’t forget to have a recent photo of your little one’s smiling face, too!
Supplies
- Photo of your kid
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Turkey template (unlock the free template at the end of the post)
Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this turkey to life!
First, guide your child to glue the photo of your child to the turkey’s head.
Glue the snood to your child’s photo, positioning it just below the eyes.
Place the beak above the snood and glue it down.
Next, help your child to glue the belly to the middle and bottom of the turkey body.
Attach the body to the middle of the feathers using glue.
Create the legs by folding the leg (but not the foot) back and forth to create an accordion style.
Finally, encourage your child to glue the legs to the back and bottom of the body.
