Supplies

• Colored cardstock or construction paper
• Glue
• Scissors
• Markers
• Alien template (click the “click here to get this freebie” image at the end to open the form)

Directions

Start by downloading the alien template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this alien template to life!

Begin by guiding your child to fold the alien ship base in half along the dashed line. Then, carefully cut along the spaceship, making sure to leave the top portion uncut.

Create the inside of the spaceship by gluing the alien head to the middle of the top piece of the UFO.

Next, glue the card base to the bottom of the top piece of the ship, creating a seamless spacecraft ready for takeoff.

Now, encourage your child to take the thrusters and glue them to the bottom and back part of the card base.

Finally, open up the card and tell Mom she’s “out of this world”!
