These candy apples will make an adorable addition to your fall decorations, and may even inspire you to make the real thing to enjoy while crafting!
This project is a fun opportunity for kids to practice their fine motor skills and fine tune their dexterity as they cut and paste their sweet treat together. Get started by downloading the free template and gather a few basic supplies for kids to make either a candy or caramel apple.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Popsicle stick

Directions
Start by downloading the candy apple template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this candy apple to life!
First, guide your child to glue the candy coating to the apple.
Next, glue the eyes below the eyebrows.
Now, help your child place the mouth beneath the eyes and glue it in place.
Position the tongue to the bottom portion of the mouth and glue it down.
Glue the cheeks below the eyes.
Finally, encourage your child to glue the popsicle stick piece to the center of the apple.
