Horton Handprint Craft

Supplies

  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Pencil
  • Black marker
  • Horton template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the Horton template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Take the eyes and glue them just below the eyelashes.

Trace your child’s left and right hand onto either blue or gray paper and cut both handprints out. Glue one handprint to each side of the head to look like ears.

Use the black marker to draw marks on the ears that look like ear hair and the top ridge of the ear.
