Easter is one of the best holidays for kids who love all things bunnies, chicks and sheep!
We love all of the above and handprint crafts too, so naturally, we created this handprint Easter bunny craft.
It’s another one of our easy Easter crafts for kids!
Wondering what makes it an Easter bunny craft and not just a regular bunny? Well, he’s white, just like the big guy we always see at Easter malls and he’s popping out of an Easter egg!
This activity is a fun idea to do on the week leading up to Easter. Grab your supplies, make it, and then display it proudly for everyone to see. It’s so adorable your kids won’t want to take it down!
Read our directions below to watch our quick video tutorial to see how to make this bunny.
Easter Bunny Handprint Craft

Supplies
- Colored cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
- Easter bunny template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)
Directions
Download the Easter bunny template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Trace your child’s left and right hands onto a piece of white cardstock. Set aside for later.
Make the bunny’s face by gluing the nose just above the mouth.

Take the eyes and glue them above the nose, one on each side.

Glue the pink inner ear to the middle of both of the handprints. Place the completed handprints behind the top of the head and glue them in place.

Create the bottom half of the bunny by gluing the body behind the head, on the bottom.

Decorate the eggshell any way you would like. We used a .5″ circle punch to make dots and glued them all over. You can also have your child use markers or glitter glue to decorate it.

After your egg decorating is done, glue the eggshell to the front of the body.

Now your child has a simple Easter craft they can display!

More Easter Activities For Kids
There are so many great Easter books for kids, but these are some of our favorites. Grab them from the library or buy them to add to your child’s collection! They’re great for helping your child develop a larger vocabulary, focus, and more!
Happy Easter Mouse – Everyone knows Mouse from the classic If You Give A Mouse A Cookie book, but now he’s back and ready to celebrate Easter! Kids will love watching him as he goes on an Easter egg hunt!
Pete the Cat: Big Easter Adventure – Join Pete as he races to help the Easter bunny just in time for Easter! This is another new classic kids rate as a must-have!
It’s Not Easy Being A Bunny – Follow PJ the bunny as he tries to discover what kind of animal he’d rather be instead of a bunny! It’s a silly story with a great lesson.

We have loads more Easter crafts kids will love to create!
This handprint bunny craft is the non-Easter specific version of this craft. We also have this paper plate sheep craft that’s a fun way to let the kids paint, cut, and glue!
