Winter is a great time of year to do extra crafting with the kids since it’s so cold outside!
This penguin headband craft is easy, fun, and great for antarctic or winter animal themes. It might just be our new favorite headband crafts for kids!
We’re giving you a free printable template so it’s simple to recreate at home or at school.
Inside the template, you’ll find 2 options. The first is a black and white template. For this one, all you’ll do is print on white paper and let the kids color or paint it. Finish by cutting it out and assembling and you’re all set.
This option is great for toddlers and young kids who aren’t ready for the craft version. It’s also perfect if you’re short on time or paper!
The second option is the craft version. This version is the one we give directions for below. It’s made from paper and is great for children working on scissor skills.
Check out our video below to see exactly how this cute little headband is made! Also, be sure to check out all of our winter animal crafts for kids.
