Snowman Valentine Craft
They can customize their snowmen by choosing the color of the snowman’s hat and the heart it’s holding. Once they’re done, they’ll be so proud to share their frosty creation with someone they care about. Plus, it’s a great way to sneak in some fine motor skill practice while having fun!
This inexpensive project just needs some colorful paper, scissors, and glue to get started. Download our free snowman template and gather up the supplies for kids to personalize their snowmen.
Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors

Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this snowman to life!

First, guide your child to glue the hat band stripes along the base of the hat.

Next, take the completed hat band from the previous step and glue it over the top the top of the hat.

Take the hat pom and glue it to the back and top of the hat.

Position the hat on the top portion of the head and glue it down.

Glue the carrot nose above the mouth.

Now, help your child glue the heart in the middle of the snowman.

Finally, encourage your child to glue the stick arms on both sides of the heart.

Materials

Instructions
- Download the snowman template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Begin by gluing the hat band stripes along the hat band. Cut off the excess paper that hangs off the sides.
- Next, take the completed hat band and glue it to the bottom of the hat base.
- Glue the hat pom to the top and back of the hat.
- Position the hat on the top portion of the head and glue it down.
- Glue the carrot nose above the mouth.
- Now, glue the heart in the center of the snowman.
- Finish off by gluing the stick arms on each side of the heart.
