A Fun Valentine Project for Little Hands
Kids will enjoy assembling an adorable eagle holding a Valentine’s Day message to give to friends or family. This Valentine’s Day idea gives children a fun way to get involved in the holiday and share kindness with someone else.
This easy project helps your little creators stay engaged and build confidence as they see the finished product made with their own two hands. They’ll be able to refine their fine motor skills through cutting and gluing their eagle together.

- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors

Directions
Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this eagle to life!

Grab your eagle head piece. Take the yellow beak piece and glue it right in the center of the head.

Next, let your child make their eagle extra sweet. Use a pink marker or crayon to color in the cheeks on each side of the face.

Now grab the brown body piece and the two yellow feet. Glue the feet to the bottom of the body. Kids love seeing the character start to come together piece by piece.

Here comes the special Valentine part! Take the heart piece and glue it right in the center of the body. This is such a cute keepsake for parents or classmates.

Take the two wings pieces and glue them on top of the heart, one on each side. It will look like your eagle is holding the Valentine close, which is just adorable.

Lastly, glue the completed head piece on top of the body. Once you press it down, your Valentine eagle is finished and ready to show off.

Instructions
- Print the template and gather the materials for this fun activity.
- Begin by gluing the beak in the middle of the head, just below the eyes.
- Next, use a marker to draw the cheeks on both sides of the beak.
- Glue the feet onto the bottom of the body piece.
- Now, glue the heart message onto the middle of the body.
- Next, glue the wings over the heart so the eagle looks like it is holding it.
- Finish by gluing the head onto the top of the body to complete the Valentine eagle craft.
