Hide A Gingerbread Man As A Dragon

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- White Pen

Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this dragon gingerbread to life!

Glue the gingerbread man’s face onto the dragon costume, just below the curved line of the dragon costume.

Grab the eye cutouts from your template, then glue them below both eyebrows.

Now let’s add the dragon’s signature flair! Glue the yellow paper spikes to the back of the head, making sure they peek out over the top.

Next, glue the yellow belly piece onto the middle of the dragon costume.

Our gingerbread man needs some little arms sticking out of his dragon suit! Glue the brown paper arms to the back and sides of the dragon costume.

Don’t forget the feet! Glue the brown paper legs to the bottom of the dragon costume.

Use a white marker or paint pen to draw a wavy “icing” lines on the gingerbread man’s arms and legs. The details make all the difference!

Every great dragon needs wings to soar! Glue the green paper wings to the back and sides of the dragon costume to complete the disguise.

Materials
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- White paint pen or white gel marker
- Dragon gingerbread man template
Instructions
- Download the template, print it, and cut out the pieces you need.
- Start by gluing the gingerbread man’s face onto the dragon costume, just below the curved line.
- Next, glue the eyes onto the face, below the eyebrows.
- Now, attach the paper spines to the back and right side of the head.
- Glue the belly piece to the center of the dragon costume.
- Now glue the paper arms to the back and sides of the body.
- Place the legs on the back and bottom of the body and glue them down.
- Draw a wavy line on the arms and legs using a white marker or paint pen.
- Finish by gluing the paper wings to the back and sides of the dragon costume, just above the arms.
