This Olaf paper bag puppet craft is a fun and easy winter activity inspired by Disney’s Frozen. Using a simple paper lunch bag and the free printable template, kids can create their own cheerful snowman for storytelling and pretend play.

  • Don’t have any white paper bags on hand? Just glue some white paper to the flap portion of the paper bag, and you’re set!

Supplies

  • White paper bag
  • Colored cardstock or construction paper
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Olaf template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to have the link sent to you)

Directions

Download the Olaf paper bag puppet template, print and cut out the pieces.

Glue Olaf’s head to the flap on the paper bag.

Position the 3 black coal pieces on the main part of the paper bag and glue into place.

Glue Olaf’s stick arms on each side of the paper bag, making sure they are on the back (so the bag opens easily).

Cut out a few stick hairs for Olaf from the brown card stock and glue them into place on the back of the paper bag.
