Paper Plate Sloth Craft For Kids With FREE Template

Sloths are such funny creatures and we just love them, which is why we made this paper plate sloth craft!

It’s an easy zoo animal craft for kids to make that’s great for creating with preschoolers, pre-k, and kindergarten children.

All you need to do is grab a few craft supplies and get crafting! Be sure to download your free printable template so it’s even easier.

Easy Sloth Craft

Directions

Download the template, print and cut out the pieces you need.

Begin by painting the paper plate in a thin coat of brown paint. Let dry completely before moving on.

Place the sloth head template on the paper plate, trace, and cut out.

Glue the sloth face to the middle of the paper plate.

Next, take the nose and draw on the nostrils with a black marker. Glue the completed nose just above the mouth line.

Position the brown eye area on the side of the sloth’s face, on each side, and glue in place. Glue the eyes on the innermost end of the eye area, like in the picture below.

Place the cheeks just below the eyes and glue in place.

Use a brown marker to draw on some small eyebrows just above the eyes.

That’s it! Now your child has an adorable sloth craft they’ll be so proud of!

This paper plate sloth craft is a fun and easy zoo animal craft that's cute and quick to make!

Materials

  • Paper Plates
