Directions
Start by printing the pirate craft template. This includes all the necessary shapes we need! Help kids cut along the lines carefully.

Time to start building our pirate’s head! Take the face piece and glue it onto hair and beard piece—this gives our leprechaun his iconic hair.

Now, grab the two big cartoon eyes and glue them onto the face. This will give our pirate a fun and playful expression!

Using a light pink marker, draw a cute little nose right in the center of the face.

Now let’s make that classic pirate hat! Take the black hat piece and glue the white outline around the edges. This will make it look more finished.

What’s a pirate without their signature skull and crossbones? Glue the white skull and crossbones onto the center of the black hat. Now it’s looking official!

Now that the pirate hat is ready, place it on top of the leprechaun’s head. Adjust it to the right position before gluing it down.

Pirates love their striped shirts! Take the red paper strips and glue them onto the white shirt cutout to create a fun striped pattern.

Now let’s put everything together! Glue the pirate’s head (with the hat) onto the striped shirt to complete the upper body.

Time for some pirate pants! Glue the blue pants piece to the back and bottom of the shirt. Now our pirate is almost ready to sail!

No pirate is complete without some good boots! Glue the black shoes onto the pants to finish off the outfit.

Attach the arms to both sides of the pirate’s body. Now he’s ready to hoist the sails and search for treasure!

Color in the parrot, then glue it onto the pirate’s shoulder. Now our sneaky leprechaun pirate is ready to go on adventures!

Isn’t this the cutest leprechaun pirate? We’re sure your kids will love creating it! Be sure to check out some of our other fun St. Patrick’s Day crafts while you’re here!
