Disguise A Turkey As A Turtle

This adorable turtle is a fun family activity that gets everyone involved in thinking creatively. As kids work on their disguises, they’ll be practicing essential skills like cutting, gluing, and following instructions, all while having a blast!

Supplies
- Colored cardstock or construction paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Turtle turkey template (unlock the free template at the end of the post)
Directions
Start by downloading the template and printing it out. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this turkey to life!
First, guide your child to glue the middle of the outer shell piece to the center of the feathers.
Next, glue the underside of the shell to the bottom of the last piece.
Place the head on the top portion of the underside of the shell and glue it in place.
Now, help your child to glue the eyes below the eyebrows.
Position the cheeks on each side of the mouth and glue them in place.
Glue the wings on both sides of the body.
Finally, encourage your child to glue the feet to the bottom portion of the body.
