Directions
Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this leprechaun to life!

Look for the two eye pieces and let your child place the pupils at a playful angle to make the leprechaun look extra silly! Once done, glue the eyes onto the face just above the mouth.

Next, find the pink nose. Add a little glue and place it right under the eyes in the center. Give it a gentle press and maybe a playful nose boop together.

Now grab the tongue piece and glue it along the bottom curve of the mouth shape. This adds a cute and silly touch to our leprechaun!

Glue the leprechaun’s face onto the center of the orange beard. Press around the edges and watch the character start to come to life!

Find the iconic green hat! Add glue along the bottom edge and place it above the eyes. Talk about how leprechauns always wear their lucky hats.

Glue the ear pieces to each side of the face, placing them slightly behind the beard so they peek out evenly.

Take the completed head and glue it to the top of the body piece.

Next, glue the yellow buckle onto the center of the black belt. Let your child line it up and press it down.

Now find the arm pieces. Glue one arm to each side of the body, angled upward like the leprechaun is celebrating.

Glue a hand piece onto the end of each arm.

Take the leg pieces and help your child fold them back and forth along the lines to create the accordion shape. This is a great moment to build finger strength and coordination.

Now glue the shoe piece onto the bottom of each leg.

Glue the top of each folded leg behind the bottom of the body. Press firmly and tell your child their leprechaun is ready to dance and march to find gold.

Hold up your finished leprechaun together and give those wiggly legs a little shake. Watch your child light up as their silly leprechaun comes to life. If your little one is still feeling lucky and playful, explore our other leprechaun crafts for kids and keep the fun, learning, and imagination going.
