Directions
Start by printing the template, then gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this leprechaun to life!

Look for the face and eye pieces. Glue the eyes onto the face, just above the smile.

Next, take the pink nose and glue it right in the center of the face, under the eyes. That little pop of pink instantly makes him look cheerful!

Find the two orange eyebrows and glue them just above the eyes. You can tilt them slightly to give him a playful look.

Now glue the leprechaun’s face in the center of the orange beard.

Time for the iconic hat! Take the hat piece and glue it to the top of the leprechaun’s head. Let it overlap slightly so it looks like it is sitting snugly in place.

Find the black hat band and glue it across the middle of the green hat, just above the brim.

Glue the buckle onto the middle of the hat band. That bright yellow really makes the hat pop!

Take the coin piece and glue it right along the top and back edge of the pot. Line it up so the coins peek out from the opening, like the pot is overflowing with gold.

Now take your completed pot and glue it right underneath the leprechaun. Line it up so it looks like he’s popping up out of the gold!

Finish the craft by gluing the hand pieces onto the top edge of the pot. Place one hand on each side, leaving a little space between them so it looks like he is holding onto the rim.

Isn’t he the cutest little leprechaun peeking out of his pot of gold? This is such a fun way for kids to strengthen those fine motor skills and build their own lucky character! If you’re planning more St. Patrick’s Day fun, take a peek at our other leprechaun crafts for kids.
