Have fun this St. Patrick’s Day making this cute leprechaun handprint craft with your kids!
Now that my kids are a little older, we love celebrating the less popular holidays right along side the popular ones.
Things like Valentine’s Day, Earth Day, National Donut Day and of course, St. Patrick’s Day.
We don’t do anything over the top- just usually a few fun crafts or art projects and a delicious treat!
Today we’re sharing this simple leprechaun paper craft that kids will love to make. It’s another one of our easy St. Patrick’s Day crafts!
Read on below to see how simple it is to make with your kids or students.
Handprint Leprechaun Craft

Directions
Download the leprechaun template, print, and cut out the pieces you need.

Glue the eyes to the middle of the leprechaun face.

Place the nose just below and in between the eyes and glue in place.

Use an orange marker to draw the eyebrows just above the eyes.

Trace your child’s hand on a piece of orange paper and cut it out. Position the face in the middle of the handprint, with the fingers pointed down, and glue in place.

Create the hat by gluing the hat band to the middle of the hat.

Glue the yellow buckle in the middle of the black band and then glue the black inner buckle in the middle of the yellow buckle.

Place the completed hat on the top of the leprechaun handprint and glue it in place.

This is such a simple craft your kids will love creating for St. Patrick’s Day!
Since this craft uses common supplies, it makes a great art project in the classroom too!
