Paper Bag Pig Craft

Visiting farms is such an entertaining and educational activity for young children to do to learn all about farm animals!

If you’re doing a farm animal theme with your kids for homeschooling or in the classroom, you have to make this easy paper bag pig craft.

Paper bag crafts for kids are so fun to create because they’re a classic kids’ craft that is cheap and easy to create.

This pig craft comes with a free printable template so it’s really simple to make with toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarten children.

Directions

Download the pig craft template, print and cut out the pieces.

Glue the pig’s ear to the corner of the bag, like in the pictures. Next, glue the pig’s face to the front of the bag, on the flap part.

Place the eyes on the face, just about centered over the end of the smile. Glue in place to secure.

Take the snout and glue it in place between the eyes and just above the mouth. Use the pink marker to draw on the nostrils.

Glue the pink pig body to the base of the brown paper bag.

Paper Bag Pig Craft

See how easy it is to make this paper bag pig craft. It's perfect to make with toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarten children.

Materials

  • Brown paper bag
  • Colored cardstock (in light pink and dark pink)
  • White cardstock
  • Pink marker
  • Glue stick
  • Pig craft template (download form located at the end the post)

Tools

  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Download the pig template, print and cut out the pieces.
  2. Glue the pig's ears to each corner of the paper bag flap.
  3. Glue the pig's face on top of the ears on the flap.
  4. Glue the eyes near the middle of the pig's face.
  5. Glue the pig's snout in between the eyes and just above the smile.
  6. Use the pink marker to draw on the nostrils.
  7. Glue the pig's pink body to the base of the brown paper bag.
