Start by downloading the shamrock template and printing it out. Once you have the template printed, gather the materials needed for this fun activity.

Let’s grab that green paint and give our four-leaf clover a makeover. Invite your kids to paint the shamrock with one or two coats, depending on how rich you’d like the color to be. Once painted, we’ll need to let it dry completely.

While our shamrock is drying, let’s prepare the picture of your child. Whether you punch or cut it out, make sure it fits nicely in the center of the shamrock. Now, using a glue stick or liquid glue, attach the photo to the center of the shamrock.

Next, it’s time to add some fluffy fun! Show your child how to use the liquid glue to add a small dab on the shamrock, then carefully place a pom-pom on top of it. Hold it in place for a few seconds to make sure it sticks. This can be a great moment to help kids practice patience!

Repeat the pom-pom process all around the shamrock and its base until you’ve covered the whole thing in green pom-poms. Encourage your child to spread the pom-poms evenly, creating a lush, green field on their shamrock. It’s like dressing up the shamrock in its St. Patrick’s Day best!
