Assemble Frankenstein’s clothes by gluing the purple shirt to the middle of the orange jacket. Glue the completed clothes to the bottom of the Frankenstein body.

Take Frank’s hair and glue it to the top of his body.

Now take the completed body section and glue or tape it to the cardboard tube. FYI, he’s a little taller than our toilet paper roll was, so we lined it up on the bottom and let it hang over on the top.

Take your googly eyes and glue them between Frankenstein’s hair and nose.

Finish him off by gluing on his bolts. For very young children, you can skip this step and be done. If you do want to make bolts there are two options:

  1. Use the bolt template in the download. These are small and an adult will likely need to cut them out and help glue them on for the child.
  2. Use pipe cleaners to make the bolts. To do this, we made an oval on one end of the pipe cleaner, looped the tail around and then flattened it to look like a bolt. Cut off the rest of the pipe cleaner to leave a 1″ tail to glue onto Frankenstein.

We love how he turned out!

This is a super fun craft that’s great for kids of all ages! If you have very young kids that don’t want to cut out all the pieces don’t worry.

We’ve created a black and white version of Frankenstein that kids can color and glue to the cardboard tube!

Yep, it’s even easier and kids can customize it with any color they want!

Halloween Theme For Preschool

If you’d like to know more things to do to entertain and educate your preschoolers, we’ve gathered a few of our top ideas to get your mind planning!

First off, consider all the different crafts you can do. Halloween time means pumpkins, ghosts, witches and more and we’ve got plenty of kid-friendly crafts to keep them occupied!

Besides being fun, these crafts will help your children in preschool and beyond. While making these crafts they’ll work on scissors skills and strengthening the muscles in the hands.

They’ll also have the opportunity to work on hand-eye coordination, to practice critical thinking, and to boost self-esteem.

Our top Halloween craft on the entire blog is this paper plate monster craft. It’s super simple to make and it lets kids have a chance to paint and make a unique, friendly monster.

Another reader favorite is this handprint bat craft. It’s super cute and is a fun way to preserve your little one’s handprint for the future!

Two of our brand new Halloween crafts this year that we’re loving is this paper plate Frankenstein (he’s just so cute!) and this paper bag bat craft.
