A pair of hands is holding a sheet of blue paper with a simple black outline of a pot and a three-arched rainbow, serving as a template for the craft.

Now, grab black paper and start tearing it into little pieces. No need for perfection—ripped edges actually make it look better! Glue those pieces onto the pot outline until it’s covered.

A pair of hands is gluing torn pieces of black paper onto the pot outline on blue paper, beginning the craft’s textured pot design.

It’s time to add the magic! Using torn paper in red, yellow, green, and purple, help kids glue the pieces along the curved lines of the rainbow.

A pair of hands is assembling a torn paper craft on blue paper, creating a rainbow with red, yellow, green, and purple strips leading into a black pot shape.

What’s a pot without gold? Grab the gold piece and glue it right on top of the pot. Now, it really looks like a lucky treasure!

A pair of hands is attaching a yellow, cgold coin cutout to the top of the torn paper pot, completing the craft’s gold-at-the-end-of-the-rainbow design.

Hand out the eyes and let the kids glue them onto the pot. This gives it an expressive character!

A pair of hands is placing large, round white eyes with black pupils onto the torn paper pot, which has a rainbow above and a yellow cloud-like shape on top.

The last step is adding an adorable smile! Using a white marker, draw a smile on the pot to give it a happy expression.

If kids want, they can also add extra details like eyelashes to make their pot even cuter.
