DIY Easter Card
Celebrate Easter with this charming handprint card that’s as fun to make as it is to give! Kiddos will love turning their little handprints into cute designs. It’s a simple and creative way to spread joy to family and friends this spring!
Supplies
- Colored cardstock
- Markers
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pencil
- Easter card template (unlock the image at the end of the post to go to the download page)
Directions
Start by downloading and printing the template. Once the template is printed, gather the materials for this fun activity. Get those scissors ready, and let’s help the kids bring this card to life!

First, guide your child to grab a piece of green paper and fold it in half. Place your child’s left hand on the paper, ensuring the fold aligns with the outside of their pinky.
Then, help your kid trace around their hand and cut it out, leaving the pinky fold line uncut. This will be the base of their cute card.

Next, help your child to get the markers and decorate the three Easter eggs. Use bright colors and fun patterns!

Place the eggs along the bottom of the handprint and glue them down.

Draw a circular decoration in the center of the flower, then glue the leaves to the back of the flower.

Finally, encourage your child to glue the flower in the middle and bottom of the group of the Easter eggs.

Now, open the handmade card and let your child write a fun Easter message. It could be something like “Hoppy Easter!” or “Wishing you an egg-cellent day!” This personal touch will make the card extra special.
